Turcia nu va trimite trupe în Yemen în baza Pactului de la Mecca. Acordul ajunge în Parlament
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan announced that a defense agreement with Saudi Arabia and Pakistan will be sent to Parliament for ratification. He emphasized that the pact is defensive and does not involve sending troops for offensive operations, particularly in Yemen. Fidan explained that technical evaluations are ongoing to determine the type of support Turkey can provide, especially in air defense and electronic warfare. He also addressed concerns about Turkey's involvement in Yemen, asserting that the agreement is solely for defense purposes. Additionally, Fidan warned about the expanding conflict in Ukraine affecting security in the Black Sea and highlighted Turkey's efforts to ensure safe navigation in the region.
