The Gas Turbine 1 (TG1) at the Mintia Combined Cycle Power Plant has successfully synchronized with the National Electric Power System (SEN) for the first time. The next production day is scheduled for October 19, 2026, followed by three weeks of daily testing in the evenings. During its first test day, TG1 achieved a maximum gross power of 135 MW. Future tests will focus on technical adjustments to optimize performance. This integration aims to enhance energy production capacity, especially during peak demand periods, addressing recent operational challenges in the SEN.
