This summer, the average spending per booking for Romanian travelers reached 840 euros, reflecting a shift in travel behavior due to economic challenges. More than 60% of tourists booked their vacations 3-6 months in advance, indicating a trend towards early planning for better financial predictability. The percentage of last-minute bookings dropped significantly to only 8%, one of the lowest rates in Europe. Egypt emerged as the top destination, followed by Turkey and Greece, while interest in new vacation concepts is rising. Tourists are increasingly focused on budget management and quality service, seeking the best value for their money. Brașov saw a remarkable increase in passenger numbers, highlighting the importance of regional connectivity for travelers.
