Trump, pregătit să se întâlnească cu Putin și Xi Jinping în China. Ucraina, exclusă de pe agendă • Newsweek România

Donald Trump is open to a trilateral meeting with Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping in China to discuss denuclearization, excluding Ukraine from the agenda. The potential summit, linked to the APEC meeting in November, has been mentioned by the Kremlin, but no formal arrangements have been confirmed. Trump emphasized that discussions would not involve Ukraine, which raises concerns in Kyiv about Russia gaining diplomatic advantages. Ukrainian officials fear the summit could embolden Putin, while Trump has criticized Ukrainian President Zelensky, suggesting a leadership change is needed. Recent interactions between Trump and Putin have heightened tensions with Ukraine.
