Trump aprobă folosirea plutonului de execuție pentru prima dată din 1945 / Va fi ucis Nidal Malik Hasan, fost maior și medic psihiatru în Armata SUA, care a ucis 13 militari americani

President Donald Trump has approved the use of a firing squad for the execution of Nidal Malik Hasan, the Fort Hood shooter, marking the first military execution by firing squad since World War II. Hasan, a former Army psychiatrist, was convicted in 2013 for killing 13 soldiers and injuring 32 others during the 2009 attack. The Secretary of the Army will determine the execution date and location. Hasan admitted to the attack, claiming it was to protect Muslims and Taliban members in Afghanistan. He is one of four inmates on the U.S. military death row, with the last military execution by firing squad occurring in 1945.
