Trotinetele electrice personale, implicate în aproximativ de cinci ori mai multe accidente decât cele închiriate

Personal electric scooters have been involved in about five times more accidents than rented ones in the last 18 months, according to Romanian police data. Approximately 2,700 accidents and 22 fatalities were reported for personal scooters, while rented scooters accounted for 530 accidents and two deaths. The speed limit for rented scooters is set at 25 km/h, with further reductions in crowded or high-risk areas. Analysts suggest that regulations should focus on privately owned scooters, which are seen as a critical safety concern.
