Trotinetele electrice închiriate nu vor mai putea fi folosite în parcurile din București și la evenimentele stradale

Bucharest's local government has banned the use of rented electric scooters in parks and during large public events. This decision was made in collaboration with scooter operators. Previously, scooters could only travel at a maximum speed of 5 km/h in parks, but now they are completely prohibited. Lime, Bolt, and Splash have agreed to this new regulation, with Lime already enforcing similar restrictions in several parks since October 2025. Violators may face fines up to 500 lei.
