The local administration emphasizes that riding electric scooters in parks and during street events is prohibited. Discussions with major scooter operators and local police have led to a decision to reduce the speed limit for scooters in parks to zero. Previously, the maximum speed was limited to 5 km/h when entering a park. Lime, Bolt, and Splash have responded positively, with Lime already implementing restrictions in several parks. Violations can result in fines up to 500 lei.
