Tronsonul Zimbor-Nădășelu de pe Autostrada Transilvania a ajuns la peste 90% / Traficul spre Cluj va fi deschis până la finalul anului
The Transylvania Highway is progressing rapidly on the Zimbor-Nădășelu section, with over 90% of the work completed. Construction teams are finalizing the last touches on the approximately 30 kilometers of highway connecting Cluj and Zalău. Continuous asphalt has been laid from Zimbor to Topa Mică, and the Turkish contractor has started asphalt application. Significant work is also ongoing on two major viaducts, including the longest highway viaduct in Romania, where the concrete slab has been completed. The goal is to finish the Zimbor-Nădășelu section by the end of this year, allowing uninterrupted travel from Zalău to Cluj and beyond. The Zimbor-Poarta Sălajului section opened in August, with ongoing work towards Nădășelu. The Transylvania Highway represents a major infrastructure investment in the northwest region, with nearly 100 kilometers of new highway expected to open by 2026.
