Tronsonul I Cluj Napoca-Floreşti al centurii metropolitane a fost finalizat
The mayor of Cluj-Napoca, Emil Boc, inaugurated a new metropolitan belt section, enhancing public transport efficiency and reducing travel time significantly. The project, costing 23 million euros from EU funds, features dedicated bus lanes and aims to decrease pollution and traffic congestion. Starting September 7, the number of buses on the Cluj-Florești route will increase by 40%, including the introduction of electric buses. The new 3.5 km section includes six lanes and bike paths, marking a significant improvement in urban infrastructure.
