Tribunalul București decide dacă Georgescu rămâne în arest. Hotărârea va fi luată de judecătorul care a mai respins o dată arestarea

The Bucharest Tribunal is set to decide on Călin Georgescu's request to replace preventive arrest with house arrest or judicial control. Georgescu, currently in preventive detention since September 29, is accused of defrauding a businessman of 1.1 million euros. His case involves a failed business deal related to precious metals, where the victim was misled into paying a guarantee for a loan that never materialized. Following a court hearing, Georgescu was taken back to DIICOT for further investigations on electronic devices seized from his residence.
