Tribunalul București a aprobat insolvența STB

The Bucharest Tribunal has approved the insolvency request of the Bucharest Transport Company (STB), initiating general insolvency proceedings. A provisional judicial administrator has been appointed, consisting of a consortium of three firms. The deadline for creditors to submit claims is set for October 23, 2026, with preliminary and final claims tables due in November and December, respectively. The first creditors' meeting is scheduled for November 17, 2026. This decision follows a previous rejection of STB's insolvency request due to missing documents. STB submitted a new request with extensive documentation, which was ultimately accepted.
