Tribunalul a respins „neașteptat” intrarea STB în insolvență, anunță Ciucu: „Managementul se jură că le-au verificat de șapte ori”

The Bucharest Tribunal unexpectedly rejected the request of the Bucharest Transport Company (STB) to enter insolvency, citing a lack of documents. Mayor Ciprian Ciucu expressed surprise at the decision, stating that STB management claimed to have verified the submission multiple times. STB had filed for insolvency on August 6, following a mandate from the General Council. Ciucu reiterated that seeking insolvency was a necessary step to save the company, highlighting the significant financial burden of public transport on the city budget. He emphasized the importance of a restructuring plan to avoid accumulating further debts while maintaining service continuity.
