Romanian and Serbian transport officials met to address the technical aspects needed for the railway's revival, emphasizing its strategic importance as part of the European Rhine-Danube corridor. The project for the Timișoara-Moravița road is already in the awarding process, while Serbia needs to ratify a previous agreement. Additionally, there are plans to enhance the Bega Canal's role in regional connectivity, with potential EU funding for joint projects.
