The interim Minister of Transport, Radu Miruță, announced that 11 PESA electric trains could soon enter service after being previously blocked. The trains are currently at Gara Obor in Bucharest, and Miruță emphasized that no one at CFR will be at ease until they start transporting passengers. He mentioned that issues related to the contract have been resolved, and a new step has been taken towards signing the transfer contract between PESA and the operators. Miruță believes it will only be a matter of days before the trains are operational, and any future disputes will be settled in court.
