Trenurile Coradia 23 și 24, recepționate preliminar
The Romanian Railway Reform Authority has received two Coradia Stream electric trains, which will be assigned to InterRegional Călători after endurance tests. The preliminary reception took place at Alstom's depot, with representatives from EGIS and Alstom present. These trains are part of a contract for 37 new interregional electric units signed in 2022. The ownership transfer will occur after a 2,000-kilometer endurance test and the signing of the acceptance protocol. The trains will operate on four routes, aiming to enhance interregional rail services and improve travel times. The total project value is 1.709 billion lei, funded in two phases.
