Trenurile Bombardier, „interzise” la stația Arghezi de pe Magistrala 2

Metrorex faced operational issues for nearly two weeks due to unapproved Bombardier trains on Line 2, causing discomfort for commuters. After Alstom's decision to send CAF trains for maintenance, Bombardier trains were introduced but lacked AFER approval for the new section. Initially, these trains could not reach Tudor Arghezi station, requiring manual operation with two drivers. Recently, AFER granted approval, allowing full service. However, service remains limited with fewer trains and increased wait times, raising concerns about capacity as ridership grows post-vacation. Line 2, known as the "Corporate Line," is the busiest in Bucharest, serving around 200,000 passengers daily.
