Trenuri la intervale regulate în jurul marilor orașe. ARF pregătește mersul cadențat. Alba Iulia este pe lista zonelor analizate

Romania is planning to implement a scheduled train system around major cities, aiming for regular intervals that are easy for travelers to remember. The project, led by the Railway Reform Authority, includes data collection on travel patterns and updating the National Transport Model. Alba Iulia is among the 41 cities being analyzed. The goal is to align train schedules with actual travel needs, making rail services more attractive, especially for commuters. A contract for the study was signed with TTL Planning and Systra, with a budget of nearly 16 million lei, funded by the Transport Program 2021-2027. The project will also assess seasonal travel demand to optimize train frequency and capacity.
