Cluj-Napoca's City Hall received a single bid from Polish manufacturer PESA for the purchase of up to seven electric trains for the metropolitan service. The estimated value of the acquisition is up to 622 million lei, including maintenance services for 15 years. The project aims to connect Cluj-Napoca with surrounding municipalities over a 49-kilometer route, funded by European and local contributions.
