The modernization projects for the Colentina and Titan tram depots have progressed to the evaluation phase after three bids were submitted. The total value of the works is 648 million lei. Two associations are competing for the Colentina depot, while one of them also bids for Titan alongside another group. The contracts include both design and execution responsibilities. Offers will be assessed based on technical criteria first, with financial proposals evaluated later, where technical aspects hold a 60% weight. The evaluation process may take time due to potential appeals, and the entire project is expected to last 28 months once initiated.
