Three new giant stores will open in Sun Plaza mall in Bucharest following a €100 million renovation. Primark, Peek & Cloppenburg, and Reserved will occupy a total of 8,400 sqm, with Peek & Cloppenburg being the largest at 3,200 sqm. Additionally, a state-of-the-art Auchan store of 7,000 sqm is set to open by the end of the year. CPI Romania, the mall's owner, secured a €100 million club-deal financing for the renovation. Sun Plaza currently hosts 170 stores, and these investments are part of CPI Romania's strategy to enhance the shopping center's tenant mix and modernize its spaces. CPI Property Group has a real estate portfolio in Romania valued at €1.5 billion and is one of Europe's largest real estate owners, with properties worth over €18 billion.
