Constanța plans to establish a cultural-touristic route named "Ruta Regală" connecting key royal heritage sites: the Royal Palace, Queen's Nest, and the Royal Villa in Mamaia. This initiative is part of the city's cultural strategy for 2021-2031, aiming to enhance tourism by showcasing the royal family's historical presence along the Black Sea. The Royal Villa, recently placed under the Ministry of Culture's administration, is set for restoration, with urgent works approved. The project seeks to create a coherent tourist path linking the historic center of Constanța to Mamaia, emphasizing the region's royal history and cultural heritage beyond the summer beach season.
