The Competition Council has launched an investigation into three companies suspected of colluding in the printer and electronic security markets. Konica Minolta Business Solutions Romania SRL, General Systems SRL, and General Systems & Distribution SRL are under scrutiny for potential price-fixing and market division. Unannounced inspections were conducted at Konica Minolta's premises to gather evidence. These inspections, authorized by the Bucharest Court of Appeal, aim to clarify possible anti-competitive practices. If violations are confirmed, the companies could face fines of up to 10% of their turnover.
