The most significant quake occurred in the Vrancea seismic zone, near Buzau, at a depth of 147.7 kilometers. The tremors were felt in several nearby cities, including Brașov and Ploiești. The first quake registered a magnitude of 3.2, while the third was 2.4, both occurring in the same region. Vrancea is known for its seismic activity, being one of the most tectonically significant areas in Europe.
