Trei bărci cu migranți, interceptate în largul Cretei. Peste 200 de oameni au fost salvați

Approximately 218 migrants were rescued off the coast of Crete in three separate operations involving the Greek Coast Guard and Frontex. The first boat, carrying around 71 people, was located by a Frontex drone and rescued by a Maltese tanker. A second vessel with about 70 migrants was also saved by the Greek Coast Guard. The third operation involved a Danish cargo ship rescuing around 77 individuals detected by another drone. These coordinated efforts highlight the increasing importance of surveillance technology in maritime rescue operations.
