Traseul Revoluției din Timișoara a pierdut finanțarea PNRR

The Timișoara Revolution Trail project has lost PNRR funding, leading the local government to allocate over 10 million lei from its budget for completion. The initial contract was awarded for 6.4 million lei, but delays and quality issues have hindered progress. Vice Mayor Ruben Lațcău attributed the setbacks to geopolitical conflicts affecting material supply. The project aims to commemorate key moments of the 1989 Revolution with interactive features and augmented reality technology. Despite the challenges, the local council approved the necessary budget adjustments to ensure the project's completion.
