The new company, led by CEO David Ellison, will maintain the identities of Paramount and Warner Bros while combining iconic franchises and major networks. The merger follows agreements that resolved legal obstacles, addressing challenges in the media industry. Skydance aims to integrate HBO Max and Paramount+ into a single streaming service and plans to release at least 30 films annually in the initial years. Ynon Kreiz has been appointed co-CEO to oversee daily operations, while key leadership roles at CNN and CBS News remain unchanged.
