Tranzacție în industria oțelului, aprobată de Comisia Europeană: Silcotub (Tenaris) preia Artrom Steel Tubes

The European Commission has approved Tenaris S.A.'s acquisition of Artrom Steel Tubes S.A. in Romania, a deal valued at 86 million euros. The transaction involves the production of seamless steel pipes for industrial applications. The Commission determined that the acquisition would not pose competition issues, as credible competitors would remain in the market. Silcotub S.A., a subsidiary of Tenaris, is the main Romanian producer of small-diameter seamless pipes and has been part of Tenaris since 2004. The purchase price is based on a cash-free, debt-free valuation, ensuring a normalized working capital level at the time of acquisition.
