Deutsche Telekom is set to acquire Polish companies Fiberhost and Inea for around 1 billion euros, enhancing its position in the telecom market. This move aims to transform T-Mobile Polska into a comprehensive telecom provider, integrating mobile and fixed services. The deal is pending regulatory approval and is expected to finalize by the end of 2026. The acquisition will add over 300,000 Inea customers and expand Fiberhost's network to cover 1.4 million homes. Despite exiting the Romanian mobile market, Deutsche Telekom continues to strengthen its European presence through strategic acquisitions.
