Transportul public s-a scumpit în 14 capitale din Europa / Bucureștiul este în top

A recent Greenpeace study reveals significant increases in public transport fares across 14 European capitals, with some cities seeing hikes over 50%. Conversely, four cities experienced fare reductions. The research assessed 27 EU member states, the UK, Switzerland, and Norway, focusing on the affordability and availability of monthly and annual transport subscriptions. London, Amsterdam, and Paris rank as the most expensive cities for public transport, while Nicosia saw the highest fare increase at 67%. Despite some cities lowering fares, the average VAT on public transport remains high at 11%. Only a few countries offer affordable long-term transport subscriptions, with Tallinn, Luxembourg, and Valletta leading in accessibility and inclusion.
