Transportul public din Miercurea-Ciuc va fi gratuit în fiecare weekend

Public transport in Miercurea-Ciuc will be free every weekend to promote bus usage and reduce car traffic. The initiative, called 'Green Weekend', was approved by the local council and aims to make public transport more appealing. Mayor Korodi Attila emphasized the importance of encouraging both locals and tourists to use public transport instead of cars. The measure will not incur additional costs for the local budget, as buses already operate on weekends with lower passenger numbers.
