Transfăgărășan închis pe 2 septembrie, între Arefu și Bâlea Cascadă

Traffic on the Transfăgărășan will be closed for four hours on September 2 for a car event, affecting a 25-kilometer stretch. The closure is between Arefu and Bâlea Cascadă from 07:00 to 11:00. Romania's Transalpina and Transfăgărășan rank fifth and sixth respectively in a European scenic road ranking by Avis, based on length, altitude, curves, and online popularity. Transalpina, the longest at 148 kilometers, reaches 2,145 meters and has 682 curves, while Transfăgărășan is noted for its stunning landscapes and local attractions.
