Transelectrica și-a majorat profitul cu 39% în primul semestru

Transelectrica reported a net profit of 356 million lei in the first half of 2026, marking a 39% increase from the previous year, driven by higher operational revenues. The segment of permitted profit activities saw a significant rise, with operational revenues increasing by 214 million lei. The growth in transport revenues and interconnection capacity allocation contributed to this positive trend. Operational expenses also rose by 9%, primarily due to system operation costs. The zero-profit activities segment showed improvement, with a positive result of 85 million lei, reflecting regulatory adjustments for balancing services.
