Transelectrica has signed two financing contracts worth over 351 million lei from the Modernization Fund for projects aimed at enhancing the Electric Transport Network's efficiency and safety. The projects include the optimization of overhead power lines through an online monitoring system and improving voltage regulation at the Gutinaș station. These investments will incorporate advanced technologies to support the integration of renewable energy sources and ensure better operational reliability. The European Commission has approved the funding, which aligns with national and EU energy transition goals.
