Transelectrica is set to enhance the digitalization of its transport network with over 350 million lei funding from the Modernization Fund. Two contracts were signed for projects aimed at improving the efficiency and safety of the electricity transport network. The first project focuses on optimizing aerial power lines through advanced online monitoring, while the second aims to modernize voltage regulation at the Gutinaș station, crucial for integrating renewable energy sources. These initiatives align with national and EU energy transition goals and are part of a broader investment plan exceeding 2 billion euros over the next decade.
