Transelectrica: 2.500 MW de noi capacităţi de producţie şi stocare conectați la reţea de la începutul anului

The National Energy System (SEN) has surpassed 2,500 MW of new production and storage capacities connected to the grid in 2026. This milestone was achieved with the connection of a new storage facility, IS Părău, contributing to the diversification of energy resources. By the end of the year, an additional 1,000 MW in photovoltaic and wind power plants, as well as 1,000 MW in storage installations, are expected to be connected. Transelectrica emphasizes the importance of integrating renewable energy sources and storage for energy security and flexibility. The company plans to invest over 2 billion euros in the development of the transmission infrastructure over the next decade.
