Food expenses accounted for 32% of total consumption, with households spending an average of 1,581 lei monthly on groceries. Taxes and contributions also represented a substantial portion, averaging 3,159 lei per month. Urban households reported higher incomes and expenses compared to rural ones, with urban households spending an average of 9,437 lei monthly. Salaries are the primary income source, making up 72.1% of total household income.
