Tragedie în Camerun: prăbușirea unei mine de aur a provocat cel puțin 100 de morți
A gold mine collapse near the Cameroon-Central African Republic border has resulted in over 100 fatalities. The incident occurred in Zamboyé, about 50 km from Baboua. Local miners reported that the ground completely caved in, burying many individuals. Such collapses are common in the region due to illegal mining practices and lack of state oversight. A similar incident in June also led to numerous deaths.
