Only two vessels passed through Hormuz recently, compared to the usual 130-140. The Houthi rebels have escalated their attacks on Saudi oil tankers, prompting companies to reroute ships, increasing travel time and costs. Additionally, a third of global fertilizers from the region are blocked, impacting agriculture in countries like Brazil, India, and China.
