These changes occurred during a PNL meeting following a decision to support the Veștea government alongside PSD. The session was contentious, with PNL and USR leaving during leadership appointments. Turcan replaces Arina Moș, who will serve as Vice President of the Labor Committee. Cozma was unanimously re-elected, and Gabriel Andronache continues as PNL group leader. Bode's removal was ordered by Ilie Bolojan due to his support for the Veștea government.
