Toyota își păstrează poziția de lider mondial al vânzărilor auto

Toyota Motor is likely to remain the world's largest automaker for the seventh consecutive year, reporting 5.39 million global vehicle sales in the first half of the year. Despite this lead over Volkswagen, Toyota experienced a 2.8% decline in sales compared to the previous year, attributed to weaker demand in China and disruptions from the Middle East conflict. Production also fell slightly by 0.3%. However, sales of hybrid and electrified vehicles increased by 9.1%, reaching 2.71 million units, with electric vehicle deliveries rising significantly. In China, sales dropped by 17.1%, while North American sales grew by 0.9%. Hino Motors is no longer included in Toyota's consolidated results after its merger with Mitsubishi Fuso.
