In 2026, Romania's top 12,943 companies reported a combined revenue of €299.47 billion, marking a 4.34% increase from the previous year. The companies achieved an operating profit of €26.5 billion, with a workforce of 1.37 million. The ranking, based on 945,739 financial statements, categorizes firms into seven sectors, with industry and services having the largest shares. Commerce leads in revenue generation, while industry holds the highest profit share. The National Firms Ranking has been conducted by CCIR since 1994, using five key indicators.
