Transylvania is highlighted as one of the five "Cinderella" destinations for British tourists in 2024, alongside Sri Lanka, Slovenia, Uzbekistan, and South Korea. The region, often associated with vampire myths, offers rich culture and history beyond the Dracula legend. It features hiking trails and wildlife, including numerous brown bears. A proposed eight-day tour includes visits to medieval villages and Bran Castle, known as Dracula's inspiration. The tour package starts at £1,749 per person, covering flights, transfers, four-star hotels, meals, and experiences. Interest in Asian destinations is also rising, with significant increases in bookings for South Korea and Uzbekistan.
