Hungary was the largest buyer, followed by Slovakia and France. The EU saw a significant drop in LNG imports from Russia, reaching a record low since the Ukraine war began. Meanwhile, China remained the largest global buyer of Russian fossil fuels, accounting for 51% of Russia's export revenues, with oil being the primary import. India and Turkey followed as major importers, with Turkey's petroleum imports declining sharply. The EU's share of Russian fossil fuel imports was just under 8%, reflecting a 46% decrease in LNG volumes from the previous month. Egypt also featured as a significant importer despite a decrease in volumes.
