TollRo intră în România. Ce șoferi vor plăti noua taxă de drum de la 1 octombrie

The Romanian National Company for Road Infrastructure Administration (CNAIR) announced that the new TollRo road tax system will be implemented starting October 1, 2026, targeting vehicles over 3.5 tons. Unlike the traditional road tax, TollRo charges based on distance traveled, with electronic payments through the STRR system. The implementation of the electronic toll system will begin on August 31, 2026, and the rates for national roads will be lower than those for highways. Interoperability with similar systems in EU countries will be operational from January 15, 2027.
