„Tocmai am scris istorie europeană”. O companie germană a trimis cu succes primul satelit pe orbită de pe continent
German startup Isar Aerospace successfully launched its Spectrum rocket from Norway, marking the first commercial satellite launch from continental Europe. This achievement enhances Europe's access to space and aims for greater autonomy in satellite missions. The launch carried five small satellites and a technology experiment, following a previous unsuccessful attempt. Norway's Minister of Industry emphasized the importance of this milestone for European security. Isar Aerospace has secured funding from the European Space Agency to develop new rockets and expand its launch infrastructure, while also planning a second launch site in Canada.
