Romania achieved three medals, including one gold and two silver, at the Under-23 World Rowing Championships in Duisburg, Germany. Bianca-Camelia Ifteni made history by winning the first-ever gold medal for Romania in women's single sculls. Despite a slow start, she surged ahead in the final 1,000 meters to secure victory. The Romanian mixed double sculls team, David Costel Chitic and Stejara Olariu, earned silver in a close race against Greece and Germany. Lastly, the mixed eight crew also claimed silver, with the USA winning gold.
