Ţinta stabilită pentru 2030 pentru stocarea în baterii în România: 1.200 de megawaţi
Romania aims to achieve 1,200 MW of battery storage capacity by the end of 2030, with an additional 800 MW from pumped storage. The Energy Ministry supports Transelectrica's target of 5,000 MW installed capacity. Currently, 1,100 MW is already installed, showing significant progress. There is growing interest from investors and banks in energy storage projects, particularly standalone battery systems. The Ministry has co-financed several storage projects through PNRR, with most already operational. A conference on energy storage systems was held in Bucharest, attracting various stakeholders.
