A fake notice, allegedly from the Ilfov Military Center, claimed a young person born after 2000 was summoned for conscription. The Ministry denied this and warned against panic. The ongoing MOBEX B-IF 26 exercise only involves military reservists already registered, not untrained youth. Military conscription has been suspended in Romania since 2007, only to be reinstated in exceptional circumstances.
