The XIII edition of the 'Dorel Codoban' Violin with Horn Festival-Competition took place in Roșia, showcasing nine young instrumentalists. Petrișor Rareș-Cristian won the Grand Prize, followed by other awardees. The event featured a folk show with various artists and ensembles from Bihor and beyond. Organized by local cultural institutions, the festival aims to promote the traditional instrument and support new generations of performers. The violin with horn was recognized as part of Romania's Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2022.
